The Bam-Aide Scholarship’s mission is to help eliminate one of the leading obstacles preventing single parents and minority students from attending college – the soaring cost of tuition. We provide talented students and single parents with the means to reach a higher education, which helps develop the future leaders of the world.
Low-income single parents who will be enrolled
at an accredited, not-for-profit 2 or 4-year
institution.
Low-income minority students who will be enrolled full-time at an accredited, not-for-profit 4-year institution.
PREREQUISITES:
The Single Parent Scholarship​

Eligibility is limited to families with an annual income of less than $30,000
​

Adult women ages 25 and older who are raising school-age children (grades Pre-K - 12th). This includes natural born, legally adopted children or children for whom legal guardianship has been granted

Applicants must be age 25 or older at the time of the application deadline

The Leadership Scholarship​

Eligibility is limited to families with an annual income of less than $30,000

High-school senior seeking to earn a four-year undergraduate degree in the field of their choice
​

Applicants must be an exemplary student with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
​

SAT composite of 1240 or ACT composite of 26. Applicants unable to secure a test prior to the application deadline should contact their scholarship counselor

Applicants must be able to show proof of volunteering efforts within the community
