CAROLINA CHAPTER
The BBB Foundation North Carolina chapter is focused on the empowerment and growth of young men through sports, education and brotherhood.
BAM AIDE
Each year The BBB Foundation will offer two types
of scholarships to the public through its “Bam-Aide” scholarship fund. The first scholarship is for single mothers looking to either further their education
or attend school for the first time. The second scholarship will be for students looking to apply
and attend a college or university their first year
out of high school.
THE OPTIMIST CLUB
The Overtown Optimist Club Health and Wellness initiative aims to create a safe haven for Overtown students and families during out-of-school hours. They offer high-quality, year-round academic and exposure enrichment for children aged 4-18, fostering healthy behaviors that lead to lifelong habits.
BBB BOOK CLUB
The BBB Book club is an after school space for students to talk, ask questions, and interact with peers on a level that other reading groups in school or at home often can’t. It encourages teamwork, fosters children’s ability to listen and engage, and creates a sense of community.
